These are some designs I have been working on from my new felt iPhone/iPod cases, craft project. They are all hand made and for sale. If you have any special requests I will try my best to make it. They are super fun to dress up your phone while its sitting in the car or being charged. They can be made with a flap to close them or open at the top (I prefer it open so I can charge my phone easily or just easy access in general).

Kimi and I dressed up in our most festive dresses for a fun fall photoshoot this Thanksgiving weekend. We had a lot of fun in the forested trails of Aurora. It was a beautiful weekend, with bright sun, warm weather, and AMAZINGLY colourful trees. We couldn't have asked for anthing better.

Spring blossoms. I love how magical the lawn looks in the first image. The forgetmenots on the ground literally covered the area and contrasted with the pink blossoms on the apple tree. So beautiful!!!

Free concert at Sugar Beach in Toronto, City and Colour. It was a beautiful summer like night, a great night for a concert. Went down with a couple of friends, ate some ice cream, enjoyed the warm weather and the pink parasols. There were a ton of kids with tattoos, I felt like I was at a convention!

I had the extreme privilege of shooting the wedding of one of my closest friends. Julia and Andy were married on one of the nicest weekends of the year so far. The blossoms in High Park made for a magical backdrop. After the wedding in Toronto we headed off to Niagara falls, where daffodils bloomed in fields.

Alternative Arts and Fashion week Toronto

I had the privelidge this year of participating in Toronto's alternative arts and fashion week. I assisted back stage and got to see the inner workings of one of the best showcases of fashion and art in Toronto this year.

This year's event was called Fashion Schematics and consisted of four nights; Fashion Narratives, Natural Currencies, Fashion/Unfashion, Dress Codes. You can check out the artists that participated at

Kimi and I always joke about owning a card making company because we are always making cards! Kimi made an easter card and I made one for my Grandmother's birthday. Picked up the essentials, sticky glitter paper, markers, and scissors.

One of my bestest girl friends Julia (shown above) painted this for my apartment. It is inspired by aspen tree forests. She painted a base of black and worked up from there using white and pastel colours. I simply LOVE it. The details make this painting for me.

I have the lovely pleasure of staying with some of Kimi's friends while in Australia and the experience is rather different from backpacking. Their 3 girls are always around for cuddles (even when they sneak into your bed at 4:30am), their 2 puppies love a good pat and you can easily get lost in the crazy world of make believe and toys. Today is the last day of school for the kids, so next week should be exciting...

This is Kimi and I on the island of Koh Lanta, in some of our new outfits. This was a beautiful island with great waves, sand, shells and greenery. With a little help from hair and makeup, cough cough, I think we pulled it off pretty well ha ha.

The top image is a partial of a collage I made. The bottom two images are from the amazing birthday present I reveiced from Kimi. She made me a Miniature set of the trip we hope to take to Thailand in the fall. She made a waterfall from fabric, temples and a rice field from patterned magazine pages, a hut, and an animal safari (the tigers and elephants are so cute!). I love the use of different materials, pebbles, grass, and linens.

I sometimes like to explore places that used to be occupied. I'm interested in the history that I will never know, and can only imagine through the belonging left behind. Sometimes the house has gathered dust, and other times the paint has started to peel and the wood has begun to rot. Leaks in the ceiling, draughts through the walls, creaks in the floors, and the dank musty smell that has settled become the character of the space. These spaces won't be around forever, and I enjoy documenting them because it gives me a sense of satisfaction to capture that they even existed at all.

This is Valentina Churilova, and she is a very talented artist who wanted me to take pictures for her web site. We also did a portrait sessions with a client of hers so that she could paint a portrait from my photograph. We will be collaborating together to produce portraits in photographic and painting form. I am so happy to have this experience because I have finally found a way to incorporate my love of photography and my love of painting.

I got to take pictures on the music video set for Stacy Kaniuk. She is a very talented singer and the video was really cute. Here are a few pics from the day. I've been so used to taking pictures for a project, for school, for some prof's assignment, but to just get creative instead of sitting infront of the T.V gives me a sense of satisfaction.

Hello,

I just got some new lights, 2 opus heads from Henry's outlet store in Toronto. They are closing and moving to Mississauga so they are selling all of their stock at a reduced price. I got my lights for HALF OFF!!! Very exciting. Now I have no excuses to shoot for my portfolio. My world has just opened up to me in terms of the types of photography I will be able to do. I've already taken my room mates Visa picture, and shot some food. I am now considering food photography. Its a lot less frustrating when you are shooting at home and you have access to a kitchen!!! I hope you enjoy all the new photos. I got all of the food from the markets just down on Bloor in the Bloor West village.
