Community Garden

I went for a walk in high park the other day and went exploring in the community garden. Here are some of the beautiful flowers that grow there. I loved the light because it was creating a nice backlighting effect.

Spring Beginnings

Today I decided to go on a long bike ride through High Park. One of the many beautiful sights were the blossoming trees. There were families taking pictures, having pick-nicks, and enjoying the breathtaking blossoms. 

Arts and Crafts

The top image is a partial of a collage I made. The bottom two images are from the amazing birthday present I reveiced from Kimi. She made me a Miniature set of the trip we hope to take to Thailand in the fall. She made a waterfall from fabric, temples and a rice field from patterned magazine pages, a hut, and an animal safari (the tigers and elephants are so cute!). I love the use of different materials, pebbles, grass, and linens.

I had the pleasure once again, to work with my very talented cousin Syd. Not only is she a beautiful model, but also a talented young designer. This design incorporates the issue of environment into fashion by weaving black lace into a raw twig corset. 

Travel
