Xmas Decorating in Australia!

These are some gingerbread cookies I made for the Christmas market that Marnie put on, and some of the decorations we made with the kids. It really got us into the Christmas mood!

The city of Brisbane

A cool sculpture I found at the Gold coast. Its is made of several found objects cast in metal.

Just had to throw this one in here. Australia isn't as sunny as I was let to believe. It rained about 75% of the time.

The Family in Australia

Lily

Zara

Astrid

I have the lovely pleasure of staying with some of Kimi's friends while in Australia and the experience is rather different from backpacking. Their 3 girls are always around for cuddles (even when they sneak into your bed at 4:30am), their 2 puppies love a good pat and you can easily get lost in the crazy world of make believe and toys. Today is the last day of school for the kids, so next week should be exciting...

I A-M A R-O-B-O-T

This post is for my friend Lauren. She loves robots and when I saw all these robots in Brisbane I thought she might appreciate these photos. The top ones were in a retro shop's window and the stencil robot was part of a larger mural of little individual squares. Hope you love them!

Diary of an Island hopper

Here are a few of my favorite pics from the islands in the South of Thailand- just to sum up the entire experience. When you look at these photos just imagine warm air, warm salty sea, and sand in everything!
